New Firewall Connection
The old firewall connection to the Annapolis Data Center (ADC) is being discontinued. The RSA SecurID cards were unreliable, expensive, and only allowed TELNET access to the single data center mainframe.
The new system uses the built-in Virtual Private Networking (VPN) function available in Microsoft Windows. To set up for this, you first need to know what version of Microsoft Windows you have. If you click on the Start button, you will usually see the version name written vertically next to the Programs, Settings, etc menus. Once you know your operating system, then follow the instructions to set up the VPN connection:
Once your VPN connection is set up, you will need to change your copy of the RUMBA program to use it. Follow these instructions to do so.
To use the new system once it has been set up, follow the instructions for your operating system:
Your password expires every 30 days. Follow these instructions to change it.
