Colleges face challenges in supporting the high-end academic needs of faculty and students. MDREN connects campuses with supercomputing resources to enhance their research and global collaboration. We’ve facilitated smaller campus researchers’ access to these resources at the University of Maryland College Park and Baltimore County. Human support for researchers is as crucial as technical infrastructure. We are seeking an NSF grant to verify the need for such support.
Pennsylvania’s Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC) provides federally funded HPC resources and support at no cost to researchers nationwide. If researchers on your campus need HPC resources, they can request GPUs, storage, and support from PSC. Learn more about ACCESS as a research and teaching resource.
